The Time Capsule is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is actually a golden locket with a picture of a dog (or a cat in Japan, due to the fact that cats were more common as pets in Japan). It is found on Sublevel 4 of the Citadel of Spiders, and some enemies may need to be defeated once it is found.

- In the Japanese version of Pikmin 2, the picture inside the locket is a cat instead of a dog. This is because at the time, cats were more common pets than dogs in Japan.
