The Snow Bulborb is an enemy in Pikmin 2. They are another subspecies of Dwarf Bulborb, in which these particular ones resembling miniature Hairy Bulborbs without any fur on its back. They are as similar as any other Dwarf Bulborb, although they have a decent amount of lower health than the red and orange varieties, and have considerably less than the Dwarf Bulbear. They are first found in the Emergence Cave, making them the first subterranean species discovered. They are most commonly found near other Hairy Bulborbs, or in cave terrain covered by snow or ice. If this creature is petrified in the Piklopedia, when it breaks out of the stone it runs around eating any thrown Pikpik carrots at a much greater speed than normal.

Olimar's Notes
Like the dwarf red bulborb, the snow bulborb is a member of the breadbug family that seeks to survive through imitating the appearance and behavior of a bulborb. Its pale coloration and blue spots make for easy identification. In particular, this organism mimics the hairy bulborb, but it is of course unable to grow the hair that gives the hairy bulborb its name. However, as the hairy bulborb has been known to lose its hair in certain circumstances, the snow bulborb is an effective mimic that is often mistaken for a member of the same species.

If a considerable amount of Pikmin is available, swarm it and it should die before eating any. Alternatively, aim and throw a large amount of Pikmin (Preferably Purple Pikmin) at its back. If one lands directly on it, it'll die immediately.

Run around it and swat it until it's dead, avoiding its attacks. Similarly to the strategy of defeating Adult bulborbs, attack it's back to evade it's attacks.
