The Puffstool is capable of causing the crushing glitch . When you have caused the puffstool to turn over, instead of throwing pikmin on its underside, direct your pikmin to march into the "head" of the puffstool (c-stick for gamecube, down on the d-pad for new play control). If you do this, you may notice the number of pikmin you have rapidly decreasing on the counter. No sound or ghost sprite appears, as is common with the crushing glitch.
