Pikmin is the working title of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game that is scheduled to be released sometime in 2017. It will be a side-scrolling platformer, featuring Captain Olimar and more of the red, yellow and blue Pikmin. It is unknown if this game is the new entry teased by Shigeru Miyamoto in 2015 or if it is unrelated.
