Location Forest Navel

The Omega Stabilizer is a ship part found in The Forest Navel in Pikmin. Captain Olimar needed this part in order to fly straight again. It helped Olimar's ship fly through countless deep space storms, and, according to Olimar, this ship part looks cool. It's the Dolphin's "fin" and is found inside the Puffstool. It resembles an apple slice.

Notes

Discovery Notes

"I've found the Omega Stabilizer! I absolutely must have this piece if my battered ship is ever to fly straight again. It has steered me through countless deep space storms. That, and it looks rather cool."

Ship Log

"This is the Dolphin's fin. It is a little beaten up, but it should still function. I've made great strides in repairing the Dolphin! With this, I should be able to fly again-even if I don't recover all 30 parts."

Collecting the Part

Omega

Take out 30 Red Pikmin and go to the area with the Fiery Blowhogs. Go around the piece of land sticking out of the ground, to the left of the blowhogs. Kill the Male SheargrubsShearwigs, and the lone Wollywog on the way and go to the darkest part of the region with the Common Glowcaps and kill the Puffstool. Have the 30 Red Pikmin carry the part back to the ship.

Trivia

  • The Omega Stabilizer is one of the parts that can be seen on the outside of the Dolphin.
  • Despite canonically being only one of the Dolphin's three fins, it appears to be a double fin in the field, making it the only part visible on the ship that changes models after being attached.  The most probable explananation for this is that the asymmetrical shape of the single fin model created visual glitches when pikmin tried to surround it to carry it, so the model was mirrored in the field to create a round object.
