A Dirt Wall is a new type of gate in Pikmin 3. It can easily be destroyed by Red Pikmin. When destroyed, dirt piles remain where it was. It appears to have a harder and crusty layer that the pikmin attack to reaveal a soft, moisterized underside. Unlike other gates, Pikmin can latch onto this wall.

It seems like Rock Pikmin can latch onto this wall. However, it is unknown if Winged Pikmin can as well.
