Crystal Nodules are crystaline formations that act as barriers in Pikmin 3. These crystals, much like certain walls in the previous titles, required specific Pikmin types to break. The same principal applies to these crystal barriers; only Rock Pikmin can break through the hard structures, thanks to their rock-hard bodies. It takes twelve hits from Rock Pikmin to break.
